Winning at Life Mantra is -
FailFast!
“I am revealing TL;DR (too long didn’t read) at the beginning of the story” is so opposite of the typical medium blogposts, where writers get incentivised on the basis of amount of time reader spend on their stories.
You may have guessed what #FailFast means. But it’s not as straightforward as name suggests, that is ‘failing faster’. Why would you do anything with goal to fail? You shouldn’t!
The idea is to encourage ‘action’ than over-analysing or just sitting on the fence. The decision and action are often postponed due to uncertainty or fear of failure. If you remove the fear of failure, that is if you accept ‘failure’ as a possibility, you’ll act on that thought or make a decision fast. On the other hand, if you are afraid of unknowns and do not move, you’d not go anywhere.
FailFast is all about iterative process of getting up again after falling, taking lessons from the attempts of course, thereby converging towards the success eventually.
There’s one more ingredient, I believe require to ace in business (or even life if you’re ambitious). That is ‘Quick TTM’. But let’s keep it for the next post.
