Yesterday RWJ aka =3 aka Ray William Johnson posted a shorts on his YouTube channel. I am posting some lines what he said in the video below.
He says, “I am convinced, that ‘how to be alpha men is a grift’ ‘blame women=profit’ I think it goes deeper than that. Because the most alarming part about the alpha male content is that, algorithm (read social media) continues to push this content to young adolescent men and the world IS complicated for these young adults. Different competitng groups telling them both that they are not man enough, while also that they are masculine and it’s toxic. & these men who often lack identity because they are young, are looking for some guidance. And these clowns show up! … The problem in your life is not women, the problem is these algorithm and these clowns that take advantage of it.”
I am not commenting on feminism and influencers who promotes masculinity, although that it the topic of the RWJ’s short. But he also mentioned about the social media algorithm, which is a culprit here.
I am gathering and writing articles that talks about the dangers of social media algorithm, the ‘infinite scrolling’ addiction that these media platforms influence upon the consumers. And EuqalThree’s this video is good start for that.
